Just as we hoped, March brought snow. Fresh, bountiful powder fell by the pound, promising an invigorated snowboarding and ski season. Alas, this Spring dream quickly dissipated into a shifting nightmare, as rumors of a novel corona virus quickly spiraled into a global shutdown. It seems like just yesterday we were longing for snow. Well, we got it. In record amounts. February broke the record for the most snowfall in a single month, leaving North Lake Tahoe resorts awash in powder. The good news for boarders and skiers is that the resorts are extending their seasons to take advantage of these record-breaking conditions.
